FURNISH&CO.
Furnishing process by Furnish and Co.
How It Works

A clear, managed process — from consultation to complete space.

Six stages. One managed engagement. A completed interior at handover.

Our Process

We run the process. You receive the result.

Our process is designed to remove the complexity and effort from the client experience. You are involved at the moments that matter — the brief, the direction, the handover — and we manage everything in between.

01

1–2 hours

Consultation

Everything begins with a conversation. We discuss your property, your goals, your target market or use, your timeline, and your budget. We ask detailed questions — because the quality of the brief determines the quality of the result.

In-person site visit or video call
Property type and condition assessment
Goals and intended use discussion
Timeline and budget alignment
Existing pieces and retention decisions
Service scope definition
02

3–5 days

Concept & Direction

We develop a clear aesthetic direction — a palette, a material story, a furniture direction — and present it for your review. This is the moment where you see where the project is headed, before anything is purchased or ordered. Your input shapes the direction before we proceed.

Mood direction and palette development
Key furniture and material proposals
Layout and spatial planning
Photography and reference presentation
Client review and direction confirmation
Final brief sign-off
03

1–3 weeks

Sourcing & Procurement

With the direction confirmed, we source every piece — furniture, lighting, textiles, art, accessories. We work with our network of local and international suppliers to find the right pieces at the right price. We manage all procurement, payment, and delivery scheduling.

Styling & Finishing

The final layer — the styling that transforms an installed room into a complete, photographic interior. Accessories, plants, art, books, textiles, and the small details that communicate care and consideration. This is where the space comes to life.

Textile placement and dressing
Accessory and décor styling
Plant and organic element placement
Lighting adjustment and atmosphere creation
Detail photography and documentation
Final edit and quality review
06

Process Questions

Common questions about how we work.

View All FAQs
How long does the full process take?

A standard apartment furnishing typically takes 3 to 5 weeks from confirmed brief to handover. Larger or more complex projects may take 6 to 10 weeks. We always provide a clear timeline with your proposal.

Do I need to be involved throughout?

Only at key moments. We involve you at consultation, at concept review, and at handover — and keep you updated throughout. Many clients prefer to step back and trust us; others like to stay closely involved. We adapt.

What if I already have some furniture I want to keep?

No problem. We assess existing pieces against our direction and advise on what works, what can be updated, and what should be replaced. This often helps manage budget without compromising the result.

Can you furnish a property remotely?

Yes. We work with clients who are not able to visit the property. We manage the full process remotely and provide photographic updates at each key stage, with a video walkthrough at handover.
